Give steel cut oats a shot - I buy Bob's Red Mill Organic and enjoy it a lot. Their hot oat cereal is really really good too.

had jalapeno catfish yesterday for lunch at razoos (without the sauce) and mixed veggies. Probably not the best choice but not the worst by far. al least it wasn't fried! problem is.. i ate too much at once. it sat with me all day and caused a not so good day in the gym. I did the usual FBW, but not to the best of my ability.

Squats - 3x12 @ 100lbs
deadlifs - 3x12 @ 45lbs
lunges - 4x12 w/ 20lb DBs
flat bench - 3x12 w/ 20lb DBs
incline bench - 3x12 w/ 20lb DBs
bent over rows - 3x12 @ 45lbs
close grip lat pull downs - 3x12 @ 55lbs
hammer curls - 2x12 w/ 15lb DBs
weighted crunches @ 50lbs
leg raises
15 min on the bike

had a PWO shake when i got home.
and 3oz grilled chicken breast and 1/2 cup cottage cheese around 8:30

Today:
8:15am - 1 cup oatmeal with soy milk and cinnamon
10 am - pb granola bar, apple
12 pm - 3oz chicken breast, mixed steamed veggies

probably have a tuna sandwich with 1 piece of whole weat bread, lettuce, tuna, and mustard around 2.

HIIT from 4:30 - 5:30
the PWO shake
no clue what's for dinner yet.

just had some cottage cheese for dinner last night. did not feel like cookin

1 cup kashi golean cereal with soy milk for breakfast
1 thin slice whole wheat bread, toasted, with natural pb (thinly spread) and an apple around 10.

did 45 mins HIIT on the treadmill and 15 min steady on the bike last night.

i can so feel my abs popping, but lowing the BF% to actually see more than a 2 pack is.. .well.. im starting to think impossible for me

oh well, i'll keep on 'truckin'

I think I'll try taking a jog outside this weekend, we'll see how that goes

well, sorry, i should specify lol.. 25 minutes actually.. 10 min warm up and 10 min cool down.

workout and diet are going great. weekends are hard.. my friends give me a hard time. we were all out shopping on saturday.. all day long! of course they all wanted to go to sonic at the food court in the mall. I ended up getting a grilled chicken sandwich and eating only the chicken and the lettuce and tomato... with nasty tap water. anyway. i only cheated this weekend with some chocolate fondu (i have no idea how to spell that) and strawberrys at a wedding i went to sunday.

got up to 35lb DBs for my DB bench press today.. without my bf there to spot me.. woohoo!

Thanks!!!

I had to stop after 4 reps because this really old man kept starring at me like he wanted to say something and it was really uncomfortable. so when i stopped he came over there and told me that he liked my haircut..
then i picked them back up and did 4 more.. so, i dunno how many i would be able to do straight through hehe

My friends give me shyt all the time when we're out as well. I reach in my bag to get my next meal and they reach into their pocket to pay for the Micky D cheeseburgers they just bought. Their famous line it "Cmon dude, one isn't going to do anything to you".....LOL

Nice job on not giving in...

Thanks LV.

It's hard, but you have to be dedicated to achieve your goals right? I try anyway.

One friend of mine is very overweight and recently had lap band surgery and still eats crap food, drinks soda, and does no exercise what-so-ever. I've tried to get her motivated, but she's just going to have to decide for herself to change.

Just remember, the banana must be frozen - the recipe works a whole lot better that way. (Shellsy found it out first and as I subsequently did).
