| | | a copy from the sweet tooth thread and more:
worked bicepts and shoulders, along with forearm and grip during workday at the office. 30 minutes elyptical with my honey, AND
just got back from the evening portion fo my days workout, 4.5 9 minute miles and feel good. typically it would be two miles then into the torture chamber for body pounding, but i wanted to try and run the sugar out of my system,,, i still have a mil dheadache, and want to have a cup of ice cream..
BUT i had a piece of snapper, and an apple, and glass of green tea with pomegranite juice....
you all replied and shared an all and i feel a sense of duty to keep just this first full day desert free. no candy barsm, no energy bars, not even a single brownie.... wowza!! hey lurker on my thread,,, you can do it tooo!!
you replied and it helped me... i am in debt and grateful..
Tomorrow is a new battle, but an easier one, because today is a WIN!!!

| | Good on ya dude-- you're making the most of all of it! After watching you the last couple days, I'm very thankful I don't have issues with sugar-- yikes!
Now I kind of understand why the wife goes a bit nuts when she has to give up her carbs...
Keep it up dude-- we're doing this. Gonna be in the best shape and healthier than ever man. |

| | | You're off sugar and you're making cookies...? Hmm I'd be interested to see the recipe.
And I have to say, I feel your pain - my eating hasn't been the greatest of late due to having uncustomary unhealthy foods around the house - leftover from summer parties and the like. I too have to walk the walk in order to be able to talk the talk. |

| | | Yes, he is and if it is done correctly, there pretty good!
the difference is Splenda (the baking kind) with whole wheat flour (instead of refined white), with the main stay being oatmeal and raisins (its oatmeal raisin cookies he is referring to. Healthy and no refined flour and no refined sugar |

| | | almost two hours for the ride Beems. the off road trail stretched it out quite a bit. best way, if you are up for riding is get Doc to install an odometer on your bike,,, go out 1/2 your distance, and then you have to make it home.
oh-- please for the exertion "moderates" I do not buy that... I subscribe to dig a whole deep enough that it takes work to get out of it!!
yes the cookie recipe came from a guy that has dietary discipline and results I am lookign for.--- and Stingo-- thanks for the smoothie idea,, it saved me from eating (just a half cup) of ice cream... the mental games I can play with myself,,, just a half cup! HA!

| | | had chicken breast no skin, bell peppers and pineapple slices for food... taking a granola bar and heading to TKD. one hour demonstration board breaking clinic, then 1 hour tournament sparring, then i will ride home.. it is 11.4 miles round trip.
then i will be making cookies... my sweetie got all the ingredients today and Chillen- i can't wait to eat one.
It is my 3rd full day of no refined sugar (except a lil pile of choc altoids) and I actually feel pretty good. i had a depressin type of tired feeling for a couple of hours today. |

| | | OK,, here is a bit of success_ i qualified tonigth for a freeform sparring tournament tomorrow at the 2nd degree level... now mind you, i am only a confirmed black.. SWEET.... Master said it is due to speed and agility.. also remember i am coming back from injury (skydiving accident),,, hence how i found this place...
i was soo pumped i came home and went for a run,, about a half mile in,, a 4x4 8' fence post said "take me, take me" so i picked it up and finished my 5K route, with it in many many many different positions on my body, and dropped the board back off where i found it.
Sat out on he back patio and thought aboutwho i woule be sparring and asked my lovely to bring me a couple "Chillens" thats what we call the cookies/brownies... she came out and said, "you should take a picture of those feet, so they know you aint wasting his time,,, so the pic is attached.
In addition I got my medical release today for skydiving,,, so tomorrow i drop my equipment for inspection and Sunday i will be flyinfree again in freefall baby.
So, Tae Kwon Do tournament, and skydiving on the same weekend,,, I am almost restored to fullnes...
on top of that- and this is the big one---
I weighed in tonight at 191.6 lbs... that is nearly 14 lbs less than my opening post.
takes alot more then magnesium citrate for that one doc! happy happy night, and thanks to this place again.
