So, I’m back. I’ve been gone for quite some time and things have changed both for the better and for the worse…although not at the same time. When I was last here posting a lot on the site I was in the middle of a cutting cycle. Since then I have succeeded in cutting off a lot of weight before the beginning of the summer getting down to about 195 lbs and the continued from there to bulk again. I have since bulked up to 242 lbs and although I feel I’ve made some good strength gains and some decent improvements towards becoming more symmetrical, I have also added way more fat on than I would have liked to.
And so, this brings me to the new challenge.
The goal – drop 40 – 60 lbs over the next 4 months.
I feel that the goal is pretty attainable since I have found my current maintenance calorie intake and my lifestyle is revolving around summer work (meaning there isn’t too much time for the gym). I have stayed steady at this weight for about 2 weeks and I have a feeling that once I start into my program (coming soon) that I will be able to drop a significant amount of weight in a short period of time.
I’ve pretty much cut all fast/fried foods out of my diet as well as sugary drinks. I’ll be keeping track of progress with photos and workout logs on this site as well as keeping track of my diet of fitday.
Anyways, there won’t be too much in the way of workouts here until the week of Sept. 10th since I’ll be starting classes then and working a lot less.
As ashamed as I am to put these up I guess it’s something I’m going to have to do to keep track. So here are some before pics…go ahead, tear me apart boys, I know I got fat, lol.
I'm hoping for a lot of replies...I'm pretty motivated as it is, but you can never have enough support.
What is your target deficit? What is your MT line at current wgt? Its my opinion, that as you drop weight, the MT Line subsequently--can drop--a small margin, so be mindful of this in your journey. Just some thoughts.
Alright boys, I'm back again. It's been a few weeks but I've make some progress in my absence; I've dropped down to 227lbs while managing to maintain my lifting weights. I'll try to get some progress pics up soon for your lovely criticism since I know well enough that just cause I don't see any progress doesn't mean you guys won't.
those pics aren't in any kind of chronological order. For example, the pic of my lats is the oldest picture and the first pic of the traps in the most recent
Alrighty then, so my life went nukin' futs for a lil while there, hence the lack of my presence even though I said that I would be here more often...
So, since the last time I was here nothing has really changed, for either better or worse, so I guess that can be viewed as a good thing. I'm currnetly running a nasty calorie defeciet and TRYING to hit the gym at every possible chance that I get. I'm down to about 220lbs and hopefully I will be able to get back on track and start dropping the poundage again soon.
