it's only 2.5 months but still see a bit of improvement in the back and chest.
very small improvements here and there, nothing too much to note, but over a longer period of time your results will really be paying off.
nope; i gained a pound.
before pics were before wrestling started.
i was 165
i ran, lifted, wrestled and tried to eat a lot to maintain.
now wrestling just ended 2 weeks ago so i was finally able to focus on lifting.
now im 166
squat-300
bench-185x6
power clean and jerk: 185x2
chinups: 10 @ +45
snatch: 130..never tried 135
im working hard to try to get all of those lifts stronger. im currently experimenting with an array of new training techniques and it broke my plateau that i was in before.
Definite progress and here are some "improvements" in my eyes. You have a very nice physique and a "model-esqe" look body. Some improvements / advice as I see:
1) do more incline press; your upper chests seems to be lacking
2) continue working on the deadlift for more back / wing
3) As you head into winter (3 months from now or so); I'd suggest to add on more bulk. Maybe take it up to 180 lbs and then lean to 175; then figure from there. Try to add on 10-20 lbs more muscle.
That just me. From the pictures, it looked like you leaned up more while adding on some muscle there especially on the abs and upper back. Very nice improvements and progress. Keep it up!!!
Looking good PB, can see slight improvements there. Very lean aren't you, you could easily up the calories, but as Karky said, are you trying to restrict the amount of weight you put on?
thankyou for the advice, tic i will definetly do more incline benching because i see it as a great way to get my bench stronger as well as build more muscle where i need it.
im not restricting my calories or weight because wrestling; lifting comes first now. i agree; i am trying to gain weight but its slightly difficult; i guess my metabolism just picked up because im 18 or something; i never had trouble gaining before.
im going to start increasing my cals, guys and get up to 170, 175. 180 wont come very soon. next year i can imagine me being 180.
Keep up the good work. The back is showing pretty well, and there is notable difference in your abdominal muscles. I'm sure you will continue to see great improvements as long as your consistant
Man, I wish that I had my metabolism when I was 18 yrs old... shoot 18-24 yrs old, I ate buffet style all the time without much weight gain... now, it's "a taste on the lips, and a lifetime on the hips."
Keep it up, PB. You may lose that six-pack from bulking but a month or 2 of trimming and it's right back!!! i made it to 180 and drop back to 170 in like one month of painful dieting.
