| | Aye, take the time and see a doctor, if one doctor can't help you with this ask for a reference to a specialist...the sooner you take these steps the better.
When I got tendinitis I waited a lot and postponed a lot of workouts in fear of making it worse...I finally decided to see a doctor and my problem was solved almost immediately. Quote: |
My arms and the sides of my pecs are sore.
| This sounds like normal muscle soreness...
Good luck man. |

| | | Yeah I love that type of soreness, it lets me know I actually did something.
I've started drinking a lot more water, I read up on the subject and I haven't been drinking enough. Also little to no processed foods, Ill ask my mom to start buying healthier food. |

An overall deficiency of nutrients, which are lacking in your diet, might be contributing to/ or causing the problem. Look into a balanced diet of fruit, vegetables, healthy fats (almonds, some oils etc), proteins and carbohydrates.
You could cut out fast food altogether, the stuff is junk in terms of training. I don't think it even tastes good compared to a real nice home-style burger.
When you lift make sure you warm up your body first and not jump right into your heaviest weight, this also helps prevent injury. Focus on each set and don't speed through the lift arching or swinging the body. Bicep lifts should be done with the biceps, not swinging momentum. Do weight that is comfortable enough to avoid hurting your joints yet challenging enough to overload the muscle groups.
Switch up your routine every so often to make the workout fun and to try to avoid 'plateauing'
Good Luck~ |

| | What a pleasant surprise, I went looking through page 2 trying to find this thread to update you guys, but somebody bumped it for me. I've started eating healthier, more fruits, veggies, non processed foods and no fast food. My left side of my abs is getting more developed than my right haha, but Im just pleased to see improvement. I have a very very faint four pack forming

Lately I've been really unsure about my stomach fat, I can't tell if it's a lot or not, my friend has the same amount of pullable skin/fat and a six pack, but I'm still unsure.
That's pulling it as far as I can, to the point where it feels like it's burning. |

| | | I know I should bulk so that it will look better, but I actually love having my ribs show. It may not look better to most people, but this is just for pleasing me and making me more comfortable with my body. Unless it's absolutely necessary to bulk, I really don't plan on it. |

| | If you want a line to show anywhere, how will you create it without muscles, mate?
The line just won't appear because you eat a special sort of cereal or...something.
This line you refer to is muscles definition. In order to have one you need muscles and a low body fat percentage.
Ask yourself this my friend: Would you rather show off ribs due to being skinny or would you rather show off your chest and abs instead because you are strong and manly?
Now...what is it you really want? You seem unsure/confused. Tell us, we'll get you on the road.

| | | Well when I talk about bulking, I'm thinking of all those bulking threads where the pics show huge guys with quite a bit of fat. I'm more interested in toning, not bulking. Is this possible?

| | | You need to gain muscle, to do that you need to eat more and you need to lift with intensity and frequency.
Bulking does not mean getting fat, how much fat you gain depends on how clean your diet is and how much of a surplus you eat. It is perfectly possible to gain muscle while lowering BF | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
