I hate to be the one to tell you this, but you're going to wonder that EVERY time you bulk starting from being sub 10%bf.

I question whether I should keep bulking every single day. The only thing that keeps me going is the mental image of how lean and how i lacked muscle in the past, and that encourages me to keep going.

Fearing bulking because of the loss of showing abs for a bit is to fear greatness.

I go through the same things while bulking...

When I start to gain fat back and my stomach gets bigger it's really tough to want to keep bulking.

Thanks for all the great advice. I decided that I'm going to bulk up first... I really dont want to look any weaker than I do now, so I think bulking first is the way to go.

I have been eating really well this past week. No junk food at all, lots of water, protein, good carbs, good fats...and I'm doing the whole "eat every 3 hours" thing, too. And of course, going to the gym. I looked into that Skinny Bastards program thing, so thats what I've been doing.

That being said, is it normal that I've gained just over half an inch around my stomach just in the past week? I know that happens when you bulk...but that fast?

Are you keeping track of calorie intake?

And its your first week of bulking, so its probably just water weight and junk that makes you look more bloated, hopefullly not fat. if it continues for the next couple weeks it might be a problem though, the goal is to gain the least amount of fat and the most amount of muscle while bulking.

Yeah, I've been keeping track, for the most part... I'm around the 3000 calorie mark, on most days.
