Chillen,
I sent you a couple emails about your spreadsheet and never heard back. I figured either your email was filtering me to junk mail or you just thought I smelled funny.

Let's do it

Sorry about that. Thats probably what happened.

dcrews@sunflower.com is the e-mail address.

We can correspond through e-mail or Yahoo: Chillpill_cis.

Im gonna need some basic info: like weight, age, height. The equipment you are using and have available to use.

I also need know the CLEAN foods you like versus the ones you dont like, and the ones you dont care for, but would eat. I would like to know your work hours and how many work hours you work in a day (and the type of work, for caloric burning reasons), and how many days a week.

Can you eat with family, though you eat differently. If so will family have problems with this?

We dont necessarily have to use my spreadsheet to get the job done.
You can send the info through e-mail.

OK guys. I can't seem to get consistent body fat measurements. My Accumeasure calipers say 11.7%, The US Navy body measurement method says 14%, my ridiculous Tanita scale says 23.5%

What does your "eyeball" method say?

I hear you, Gooch. My results came up 16 - 18% using the calipers, depending on the method, 22% using the tape measure, and 25% with the scale. I ended up throwing out the high and low and using the mean, 20%.

I think the calipers are most accurate for you.

Deadlifts, no. Pull-ups, yes. My own fancy, highly technical I-beam pull-ups

I think bench press (and especially dumbell press) works them too. Also I have a ginormous head, size 7 5/8 that probably rocks them too

7 5/8 would make you a junior member of the Big Hat Society - mine's 7 3/4.

24 1/4" with my longish hair - probably 24" if I shaved my head.

I have finally experienced that phenomenon where you've lost a lot of weight, but you are so much more cut people think you've gotten bigger. My mother-in-law was over and commented how big my arms have gotten...well, they have gotten slightly bigger, but mostly they just went from smooth to cut.

My mother-in-law's only comment is how she wishes her daughter made better decisions in life...

I'm pretty excited. I just got a squat rack off Craig's List so I can have a more complete home routine.

Have you ever bought equipment from there? It's awesome because so many people buy workout equipment and never use it. They get so tired of it being in their way, they'll sell it for a song.

I already had a flat bench (no uprights), dumbell handles, EZ bar and about 300 lbs of standard plates....also I have my elliptical: Schwinn 418

In the past couple months I got a bench that appears to have never been used (the paint inside the uprights wasn't even scuffed), 150 lbs additional weight, a barbell, and a squat rack (certainly not gym quality and a little worn but is definitely functional) all for a measly $55. I paid almost as much for a rafter mounted pull up bar with shipping which I can't wait to arrive. So the moral is: before you buy new, lurk Craig's List for a while!!

I'm a stay-at-home dad and a homebody so working out at home makes a lot of sense for me. I love it.

Well, since fall weather is on the way I pulled out my size 38 jeans I haven't worn since last spring...Obviously I had to go to the store and buy some new ones LOL Size 34 now. bye bye "big boy" jeans

What I'm really happy about is I still wear the same size shirt and the t-shirts that were snug in the sleeves then are still snug in the sleeves. So I've lost very little, if any muscle.

Congrats on shedding two pant sizes! I am also down to a 34 from an all-time high of 36 a year ago. I would guess your ideal pant size would be a 33, possibly a 32, which is my goal.

Looking good!
