Please help (loose skin or really flabby?)

Hi. So I guess I should start off and say that I've been overweight/fat my entire life. Right when I was 16-17 I ballooned up to 235 and was just tired of being overweight/afraid of diabetes, etc. I changed my diet and began walking/some light running and lost about 60 pounds in 5 months. I don't think I did it properly and probably lost more muscle than fat because I did little to no strength training. Now fast forward 3 years later and I'm 20 now. The last time I checked I was 6'0 and weighed 180. I kind of have a small frame but now I'm starting to do a real diet with lots of cardio/moderate strength training to burn all of the excess fat off of my body and tone/build some sort of muscle after 20 years. My question is, my abdominal/chest/stomach area looks...I don't know. I can't tell if this is loose skin and I will always look this way or if I am very, very very flabby and still have a high percentage of body fat? Please help me! I'm just tired of feeling self consciousness/embarrassed about this. I'm hoping I can work out and really push myself for the next year and won't look like this? Any advice is welcomed.

A good diet and correct exercise is key to getting excellent results.

You can't really loose fat on specific parts of your body...

Best thing to do is post your diet and workout, we can work from there

hey. thanks for the replies. also sorry for this very late reply. yes, i have some serious perception issues.

my diet/exercise for the past 2 months looks like this

exercise:

wake up, eat a banana and drink a glass of water. do 45-60 minutes on the treadmill (at least 20-30 minutes of HIIT). every other day i do squats, overhead shoulder press with dumbbells, flat chest press with dumbbells, crunches, bicep curls. that's about it. i do these with the 15-20 pound dumbbells i have laying around. don't have much gym equipment or muscle at the moment so i figured i'd start small

diet:

breakfast

cup of steel cut oatmeal with non fat milk and blueberries. cup of low fat/non fat organic yogurt. apple. some frosted mini wheats. 8oz glass of calcium fortified orange juice

lunch

organic almond butter / organic blueberry fruit spread on whole grain bread with either a banana or apple

dinner

skinless chicken breast with brown rice, organic black beans, broccoli and green beans

or

two eggs with green peppers/black beans

usually snack on some sliced almonds, fruit, etc. during the day. i don't drink anything besides water.

i'm guessing i should join a gym to up my weight training? i just want to get rid of these manboobs and flabby stomach

i also use a road bike as my main mode of transportation so i bike around 50-80 miles a week (low resistance, high rpm). try to bike on this trail for about 35 miles every sunday and get a nice brunch afterwards

any tips/comments etc. are appreciated

You do seem to have some loose skin. Have you lost a lot of weight recently? You have stretch marks but look quite thin

It's not as bad as you think. You mentioned "moderate weight training" ...Start lifting heavier weights and fill out that skin with muscle.

i lost around 65 pounds a little over 3 years ago. i had a diet/exercise routine but unfortunately it wasn't the healthiest and unfortunately i lost a ton of muscle.

i feel like if i do enough strength training/hiit/diet i can probably tighten everything up. i'm not trying to get a picture perfect body, just something average
