| | | Some new Tri pics, Chillen I have refocused my diet and training to maintaining the Ab core, while improving my arm composition, which has always improved in strength, but just lacked depth.
There is no mirror, and its just a back shot with my camera, at close range.(I just put the camera close and took a shot)
Never mind my messy head, I worked out about an hour earlier, and I always become a friz head---just except where I an balding. After all I will be 46. Im an old fricken man. Now, bare in mind, I weigh only 153lbs (5' 7" short man), I had my body fat measured professionally 2 weeks ago (7%), and my arms are only 15".
The first pic is the back of my left arm fully extended(left pic). The right pic is the right arm, just stretched out (partially) toward the front to give a differnt look from the side (back side of right is the same as the left, of course). I have managed to improve the look (and strength) of the tri, WITHOUT GAINING WEIGHT. There has been some minor differences in training, and a slight modification in the diet. And, I press on.......................Rock the hell on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I added the torso pic, from June 11, 2007 (for those that havent seen it), and its the same now. Im going to take a full body pretty soon.
I posted this in the: ChillOut Log, but thought I would share them here as well, as I have my blood, sweat, heart, and tears in these pics.
I thought I would share the progress being done on the tri, Im also going t take one of the bi, and post it.
Best Wishes,
Chillen

| | | I have one posted in the "afternoon pics" thread I made on Jun 11, 2007. Its from about March 03, 2006, where it shows about 10lbs of lower torso body fat. This weight loss composition was SlOW on purpose and intentional, with the exception of one 3 month period, where I lost connection with brain senses and did some wrong bulking attempts (but I learned from it)
Best wishes

| | | I look the same now as I did on June 11, 2007 in the ab torso region. I dont maintain around 7, its more near 8 to 8.5 I would suspect (right now), but these digit differences are noticable to me, but probably not someone else. The June 11, 2007, pic, I would suspect is about 8 to 8.5 approximately.
With my diet flexing between CycleBack, CycleForward, and CycleFlipBack (because I have changed focus), its difficult to maintain due to nutrient and caloric changes, but its always within reach. I feel great, but when I got at 7 I felt my body fighting, and hence my doc said not to go any lower (LOL), so Im being good. It just took a small adjustment in diet to increase a little (it was frustrating, but I did it).
I do stress diet. The diet is the Quiet-Riot to your body's success. If the diet is messed up, the rest is messed up. |

| | | I posted this pic in the ChillOut Log, on July 5th, 2007, for a comparison. This pic has my t-shirt off, but I was primarily showing the left arm tri.
Just showing comparison from about 3 weeks ago |

How many calories a day do you consume to hold at a 8 % body fat for 153lbs - close to the bf% where you are now ?
And, how do you ensure these daily calories are sufficient to fuel your cardio workouts?
( btw - what does your typical weekly cardio regimen look like ? ) |

( btw - what does your typical weekly cardio regimen look like ? ) | My body, though its 46, is very efficient. I will post some information in reference to your questions abit later. The post will be rather lengthy.
However, what I will say at first is: Through a period of months, with being VERY meticulous in my caloric content (and how my body responded to it) in conjunction to being VERY meticulous in my daily activities, and having these TWO adjoined to one another was the key ingredient. At the begining the MT line was wrong, and over time (and listening to my body response), I just made caloric adjustments, and now I have the MT line pegged in accordance to what I do.
In reference to me, I dont need cardio to lose fat weight. With just being in a deficit diet works for me. 85% of my tissue loss was through deficit dieting. In december 06, (in afternoon pics thread), I was nearly as lean, but not quite. I decided that I wanted add cardio to the equation. I NEVER got to scientific with it as it wasnt necessary. I just was concerned with time and intensity and the approximate calories burned (I didnt bother with the heart rate application part), and this assisted in the TOTAL equation of the last 15%, but I could have just deficit dieted and trained and gotten the same result(though the last bit was a B@stard....lol)....... But, I respond very well to cardio, even if its only 20m (with diet correct). The 153lbs is the DRY weight (or morning when I get up), I do normally flex to about 156-7, with water and food consumption.
Any way, I will post a rather lengthy and detailed post later. Ill try to space it out and make it readable and answer your questions more thoroughly.
Best wishes
Chillen
