I want to become a model, male
**** UPDATE *2008-07-16 **** Please scroll down
Hello, excellent forum for those posts I have been reading and the helpful people providing tips.
This is me, 24y, no physical impediments to exercise. My nutrition regime is vegan for around 5 years already.
I want to become a model for clothing in about 5 months. Some times I may have to wear only pants, i.e. jeans advertisement.
My upper body is almost like that by genetics.
My midsection is not so pleasable I think. Please suggest me some exercises to improve my midsection.
Please suggest me according to my picture, what would you like to see on a clothing model.
note, I didnt know if I should censor my nipples, black stars may look funny, lol
Thank you so much for your time, much appreciation.
**** UPDATE *2008-07-03 ****
currently, 24 years old 58kg, around 1.74m
**** UPDATE *2008-07-17 ****
In the meantime I'm posting my diet and exercise routine.
Briefly, diet still vegan, less fruits and portions significantly smaller. 5-6 meal a day. Exercise, did a whole month with HIIT cardio rarely taking 2 days off. Weight trainning 3 times per week (abs & lifting). On the weight training days I eat more.
The real deal is the diet, not how much you exercise.
As for the posture, the self diagnosis is "lordosis" or "forward tilt pelvis" and within a month I have corrected it flawlessly
Thank you all, please comment

what's in that jar on the shelf?
give yourself to a professional and do everything they say and you will be suprised at what Derwydon will make out of you.
yer gunna need to bust ye aas major, and if you REALLY DO IT FOR 5 MONTHS- you will feel accomplished and ultimately project the confidence that will land the shoot.
pinch yer shoulders together and that will help right away.

p.s. if you can tuck that pelvis in a bit it will flatten your potbelly. I have the same issues with posture.

Thank you very much everyone,
Thus, posture, weight loss, are things I should work on. Is there anything else I am missing?
I didnt understand this comment,
"Five months to the big walkoff!"
is it a good expression for cheering?
again, thank you everyone

For some reason, when I got up today I thought about posture because you both mentioned it on this thread. All day long, I held myself differently, a little taller with my stomach a little flatter.
I wanted to say thanks because, whether it was a s a direct result or not, I felt much stronger when I hit the gym and lifted more than usual.
Oh, and to the OP.....welcome

Honestly, if you work hard you can get where you want to be to look good for that kind of thing. There's a lot of great information on this site.
Would you want to be a bit bigger muscle wise, or do you like the wow i'm so skinny but fashion loves me for some unknown reason look?
the skinny superhero look?
Peter Parker look..

I was always too hairy to be a model so I chose to be an architect.
Welcome aboard good luck with your goals.
