| | Just saying hi New to the forums, trying to lose about 15lbs. Fairly fit, little lazy, 43yrs old and it's not quite as easy anymore to get rid of the belly and chin fat...is it just me?
Cheers!

| | | Its just you and refining what you think in your mind.
I began at 44 years old. I am now nearing 47 (in August), and let me tell you, diet and fitness has changed my entire life. I want persons to feel this inside. Nothing more. Nothing less.
I looked 44 and old. Now, I look youthful in body and spirit, and my body "doesnt" come close to looking middle aged--I mean not even friggen close.
Believe me, if you give our middle aged body a "reason" to change, it has "no choice" but to deliver.
And, let your mind be the one to make your body stand in a way it was meant to.
Age is a number. I put some that are half my age to shame where I live. I mean this in a good way and not detrimental in any way shape or form.
YOU can make your 43 year old body stand and deliver to.
Take your passion and make it happen
Oh! What a feelen'!
Best wishes,
Chillen |

| | I Know what you mean! Hi! I am a 42 year old woman and although I am not overweight and have been into fitness for 20 years, I can relate to the "sag" thing happening. I happen to be going through a divorce, selling my house, have 2 kids, work and am going back to school and get quite the chuckle out of the die-hards.(who has all this time?!) My advice- don't think of working out as work, think of it as "your time '. And love the skin your in right now because one doesn't need to look 18 again to be beautiful. As far as diet, eat well to feel well. If we get too focused on how we look rather than how we feel, it tends not to become a life-time habit. So good luck to you and hope this wisdom from an "ancient one" helps (ha ha) | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
