    New here and what-not.

    Heyy everyone.
I feel kinda weird joining a forum (my first! :O), I'm doing it mostly for motivation and to have something that reminds me that I'm supposed to be sticking to my fitness plan (lol), but anyways. :P
Ehh yeah I'm 17 and from Ireland, and I really, really need to start getting fit. Like, I'm ridiculously unfit, and it's possibly just gonna be a problem/get worse unless I start exercising. I don't like sport (at all), so I dunno what really to do, but I've already taken up jump-roping and will take up swimming. I've heard of something along the lines of 'High-intensity interval training' after a heap of researching, and a routine for doing it with jump-rope, so I may just try that? Lol I'm a bit of a newbie to all this and that's probably not suited to me but I'll try it anyways. :P I'm also gonna try tone up a bit too, as I hear it helps...
Yeah, apart from that, I'm 17, I'm a dude (don't wanna say my name though - safety first lol!) from Ireland, I play/teach piano, and I'm in my final year of school.
Thanks for reading through this great big mess of an intro if you did, hope I didn't bore anyone too much.

Welcome and Good luck chief Just be determined, if you care enough for it, then it won't be hard and you should enjoy it. Swimming is a great idea Take it easy at first, eat well, drink plenty of water always and get plenty of rest, but obviously, get the Sweating on first! Best wishes lad, take care. And by the way, you we're not boring it was a pleasure to read.

I hate sports too and cannot motivate myself to do gym work.

Personally I ended up doing cardio classes: Les Mills Body Attack and Body Combat, and the Meta-Fit HIIT classes. They're getting me fit and are fun to do in a crowd. Great motivation.

As a bonus the classes are full of gorgeous women in tight Lycra....
