New to working out, advise and guidance needed

Hi everyone,

Id like to start out by saying the Where To Begin / All Info Links thread has opened my eyes to this journey im about to take myself on. amazing info, stuff i did not even consider before. thanks for compileing that info tony.

Now on to my goals. long story short this winter seen me out of work and verry depressed becuase of it. so we all knwo depression leads to non activity and weight gain. thankfully my gf is amazing and was a huge source of support when my life was hitting a brick wall at mach 4. ok p[ersonal history done, im left with a bit of a spare tire around my stomach and my arms have gotten smaller. I like most on here would love to get in to shape. I want to build my biceps up to 12-15 inchs (at about 8 right now) add about 2-6 inchs to my chest. and of course CUT CUT CUT abs the whole package.

Diet as of right now with starting a new job (which is helping with fat loss) im a bit how shall i say pasta pro. ive been reading over the forum and i will need a 100% overhaul on my diet. untill cash starts rolling in ( 2 weeks) ive been taking Jameson Regular vita-vim level 2 potency multivitamin. i know its not a replacement to a good diet but ATM its what i can afford :P. now any suggestions or good guides to a crash course on healthy eating you can suggest?

as for past experience, I was involved in martial arts for about 3 years/ i did basic work outs (curls, situps, squats, etc) nothing to majour. oh also im 21 5'8" 150 lbs and no idea on body fat.

som random questions to end this off. Gym VS home gym? untill i can get ether of those going, any woirk outs you can suggest? i have some free weights and a small bar and a bench which i can load to about 80 lbs. suppliments, i think creatine would be a good idea based on what ive read on it. I work full time day shift, what could i get to fit the meals every 2 hrs. would protene bars to snack on ibetween breakfist and lunch do? alright that about sums it up. sorry for the length but i figured the more detailed info i can give the better info i can get back, thanks in advance for the advise.

Evan

EDIT: found a couple month old image of me shirtless
