Peace,

my name's Matthias and I'm glad to be here! I found this forum while doing research for an article on health and fitness. My sports/exercise background: I've been working out since October 2001 and swim and bike regularly. When I started my workouts, I also started taking more care of what I eat. Up until now, I've been going on advice and info that I got from friends and some experts, but now that I'm starting my own blog on confidence, which will have articles on health and fitness, I am looking for a more vital exchange.

I've been into self-improvement for the largest part of my life. I started by reading the life advice section of my family's TV magazine, but my first major turning point with regard to self-improvement happened in the late 1990s when I read Daniel Goleman's "Emotional Intelligence", a rather psychological book. More psychology followed, spirituality and some books about manners, lately I've been learning more about dating/attraction.

Thanks for having me!
