As long as it fits into your daily requirements, a turkey sandwich on wheat, no mayo, with some veggies is decent...me personally, I would never eat that, homemade is 30 times better.

I don't think they will have much of an impact on your diet.

if i must eat fast food, i just go to Subway and order the Turkey with veggies, no mayo, mustard and very light on the oil. It tastes great and nothing that would really ruin your diet...

first of all i would avoid subway all together (i used to work there so i know)..if you still end up going tho get wheat not white bread..avoid the cheese..and any of the chicken or turkey subs should be fine (even though their stuff isnt as "fresh" as they claim"...another reason i wouldnt eat there is because their prices are ridiculous!

i usually get a 6" chicken breast with double meat, no mayo, mustard, and veggies. comes out as below.

330 cals, 48g carbs, 24g prot, 5g fat
is the standard sandwich

double meat bumps it to
400 cals, 51g carbs, 38g prot, 8g fat

I go dcjoey's way. The double meat is good.
The sandwiches are made fresh for you, ok the meat is processed and been around but if you're not home its better than a burger.

The secret of Subway is that only 6 sandwiches have less than 8g of fat.

their meatball sub has a lot of fat, and so does all their cheese and most of the dressings.

mustard is always a good condiment...like 1calorie per tablespoon, and plenty flavorful. dijon is fine too, but no dijonasse (dijon + mayo)

Thanks for all of the info. I was hoping I didnt have to get rid of Subway cause when I am out on the road, which isnt often, I would like to get something fast and they seem to be the, I guess, one of the better places to go to.

Thanks!

Whenever I eat a sandwich or anything like that another suggestion might be "open faced"... I find that helps with all that bread!
