Breakfast

Over the last week I have been trying to get my diet clean. I'm good on my meals later in the day, but I still need some help on breakfast.

I dont like oats, I can suffer through egg whites. I should stay away from processed cereal right? What else is there? Do I have to eat something "breakfasty", can I just have chicken or something?

I am eating breakfast around 5 am, then workout about 30 min after, then carb snack + whey protein.

Eat whatever you want. Most breakfast food sucks IMO. Food is food.

Exactly, just because it's breakfast doesn't mean you have to have eggs. I've eaten steak, chicken, tuna, etc...for breakfast. Egg protein is goo and has a bioavailability rating of 100 but meats will do fine. Just try to switch things up every now and then.

Breakfast foods are the best, I could eat eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, etc.. everyday (I don't), but like these two already said, food is food.

If this is preworkout you should have some complex carbs and protein, do you have any whey?

Some days I have whey before my workout, I always have it after. I just need some things too get in my stomach before, is it ok to double up on whey before and after all the time? I'm not a real big breakfast person, I usually eat a banana and a small piece of chicken then hit the gym.

I know almost nothing about carbs other then the types of food it is in. I cant tell you the diff between the types and when I need them though.
