Breakfast? PWO?

Well, I need something to eat for breakfast. I don't really have time to make a "full-size breakfast." Is there something simple out there, that I can make in like 5 minutes? (I was thinking PB sandwich but I don't know or maybe make something the night before and throw it in the fridge.)

I workout at school but I have nothing to eat PWO, I don't want to bring my Shaker cup and Protein and look like an idiot. I am getting Clif Protein bars but are there any cheaper alternatives?

you could make a shake. some milk, a banana, almomds, sunflower seeds, some PB some ice cream (if you're not that picky with the clean stuff)

you wont look like an idiot, you'll look like someone who knows what he's doing.

We've all had the odd comment but its just people finding an easy way to take the piss. They wont be making comments when you have arms that look like they could throttle them.

You could have a big glass of skim milk and toss some skim milk powder in it ( for a bit nor protein ) and have that with some whole grain toast topped with natural peanut butter and fruit spread and sliced banana or topped with low fat cheese etc. etc. If you're really pressed for time, you could always have a quick shake / meal replacement like a Carnation Instant Breakfast ( 250 cal, 13 gr protein, 40 gr carbs ) etc. etc.

Keep in mind , it isn't the end of the world if you don't have some nutrition immediately after your workout....but if you have something within 30 minutes to 1 hour post workout you're still more than fine. There's no need to haul a protein shake to school IMO.

In fact, sometimes a solid pre-workout meal is just as effective for recovery. Most carb ( and some protein ) snack ideas you can easily make at home and keep in your backpack at school.

What time of day do you usually work out at school ?

What time is your lunch period ?

What does your typical workout look like ?

Like 1:00-2:00. I have lunch like 30 minutes before.

Lets see, on my Upper body days, I just try to get 20-100 Pushups, Bench 65lbs for 2-3 sets/10 Times, Use the dumbbells for 1-2 Sets, Finish the day with 2-10 Pullups
