Bulking products on a budget

Hey guys at the minute finances are tight most days im struggling to get to my calorie target for the day wich in turn means poor gains and making all my hard work at the gym pointless. Recently ive acually lost weight!!!

Ive done a bit of research and came across a few things that will help me bulk cleanly. Can anyone add any suggestions for some food I can pick up at the shop cleaply.

Wholegrain rice and pasta
Tinned tuna
Spinach
Cottage Cheese
Farleys Rusks
Eggs
Mince Meat

Thanks

crap food that's calorically dense isn't quality bulking food. Fine if you wanna get fat, not fine if you wanna pack on muscle.

Yeah stay away from the rusks.

How about adding seeds and nuts (cheap and calorie dense)

Whole grain wheat bread and flavor-free oatmeal like someone mentioned.

Remember bulking does not mean eating tons and tons of protein. It means keeping your body in Anarobic cycle as much as possible so think SLOW DIGESTING PROTEIN AND CARBS. On weight lost or weight gain diet, you pretty much want to keep the protein intake at 1 gram per pound of bodyweight (a littel bit more if you are gaining muscle and less for fat lost); so it's the carb manipulation that makes it muscle gain or fat lost.
