Calcium - Tums as supplement

I take a few Tums every day, as a calcium supplement…and you know what? B/c I didn’t………..it causes constipation! DH found this out, I don’t know how……..but I’m sure glad I did find out, since my stomach’s been bothering me for months!!!!

Calcium Supplement

As you found out, it is not a good idea to take tums as a calcium supplement. Calcium however is an exremely important mineral and a supplement is needed to consume amounts needed for optimal nutrition. I take 700mg daily.
