Well, Olive oil is good yes. But it is not the best. We were actually having a good debate here the other day. As far as I am concerned it is still a toss up between flax and fish oil. Essentially, fish oil has more benefits from what I have read, but is also a staple source of EFA's.
Oh yeah.. and Canola is not a recommended source of fat.

Many people argue its actual health benefits based upon it's 'manufactured nature. Just because it isn't saturated doesn't mean it's all that good for you.
It is marketed as though it is the next best thing when compared with olive oil etc.. I would consider sticking with more natural less processed oils, unless it's UDO's oil which is a collection of col pressed oils and will satisfy all of your EFA needs. |
