| | | Cant get to healthy food at work or school? Well guys, this thread is as much for me as it is for anybody else, I am 16, and I'm at high school!
I cant get protein drinks/meal replacements to school, and the food there is.. not healthy, neither full of protein!
So what snacks and stuff can people take to school or work, to get their daily dose of protein in? They have got to be able to fit in a small bag!
Here are some I have thought of:
Bag of nuts
Tuna sandwich
Cheese
Peanut butter sandwich
Now this is all I could think of, What do you guys normally like to take and eat?
P.S. Me personally im trying to gain weight, but feel free to post stuff for people to show them what to take if your losing weight, just, make sure you say so!
I'm hoping this will help a lot more people than just me! So if we get this list big enough, I'm sure it will be worthy of a sticky!
P.S I cant wait to see protein boys answer, if he does post!
Cheers guys

| | | This is a reidiculous thing i tried once, but it worked great.
Take natural peanutbutter with a good amount of oil in it. Empty the whole container in a bowl and add a scoop of protien powder. (i used chocolate) Mix it and keep adding the powder till you cant get any more in it. if need add natural amond oil or extra virgin olive oil to smooth it out. Put it on crackers or Rice cakes, ect. Easy protien on the go that tastes pretty good.
Sincerely,
Wilhelm. |

A friend told me to also try putting in in the microwave for a few seconds after you mix it together. |

| | | I used to make that all the time. Except I would add stevia too for added sweetness. Then I would form them into balls and stick them in the freezer. They were so good frozen! |

| | | Oh and can't you just grab a small lunch box cooler thing and put one of those freezer pacs (I think the brand spells it without a k) in there? That way you can bring anything that you would normally keep in the freezer like meat. |

Can you cram a small cooler, or one of those insulated lunch bags in your locker?
If so, that can keep stuff cool enuf so it won't spoil. Use re-usable ice packs (or used water bottles refilled and frozen at home) rather than straight ice cubes.
I do this at my workplace for convenience. easier to reach under my desk for food than go to the community breakroom/kitchen.
Not to mention that people bitch about tuna stinking up the fridge (...this from the asshole that microwaves 2 burritos 4 times per day...a bag of frozen burritos per day...and he complains he's getting fat!) |

| | | I fail to see why you can't bring protein shakes/meal replacements to school. Put some protein powder in a reusable bottle, like a Nalgene or whatever, and add water and shake when it's time. |
