On the natural Peanut Butter Cookies:
1 1/4 cups "Whole Wheat" flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup "Smart Balance" Butter (has good fats comparable to NPB)
1/2 cup Natural Peanut butter (I use Smuckers NPB)
1/2 cup "Splenda"
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
(I took out Brown Sugar in this recipe (bad crap).
On the issue of Sweetness. In this area we have to make a choice among a set of reletively bad "sets of products": Refined white sugar and artificial sweetners. If you research Refine White Sugar, you learn rather quickly this is a bad item to consume. The same thing can be said of artificial sweetners of any type. Therefore, I believe one has to make a choice among a bad set of choices and weigh the differences and then see if the one chosen is beneficial or detrimental to ones diet goal. For this, I chose Splenda. In breif, this is how I view the matter.
