As a self-proclaimed lover of Mexican, I'm surprised you like Don Pab's theGOOCH. My brother used to drag me there, and while the free chips and salsa is nice, the food was always crappy to me. Just tasted so unauthentic.

For that matter, I've eaten at lots of Mexican places that just tasted like garbage, some so bad I left hungry.

Habanero's in Clifton by campus is the only place I've had that is fresh tasting, and decent.

Don Pablo's definitely not authentic, but Mexican food is like sex...even when it's bad it's still pretty good.

Try Taqueria Mercado in Fairfield. Depending on your waitress you may need to know a little Spanish to order.

and as mentioned, El Rancho Grande

Hahaha, well now that you put it that way, I hear that.

OK cool, thanks for the recommendation. My brother loves Mexican, so maybe when I hit 195 lbs, I'll take him up there. Yo sabe un poco de espanol!
