Arrow Daily diet

Does this diet seem reasonable for a 17 year old girl trying to lose weight and currently at 12st 7lb.

Breakfast: Toast or Special K with Semi-skimmed milk and a banana

Lunch: Pasta with pesto sauce or homemade soup

Dinner: Chicken hotpot or Chicken and spinich pasta

Supper: Toast or cereal

Snacks: Krackerwheat with Philadelphia extra light or a piece of fruit.

Is this ok or is it too much????

The amount of food is not too much, but there is an imbalance in the type of food. You seem to have too much carbs throughout the day, all five of your meals consist of carbs, and you may not be using all of the energy it provides.

I recommend carbs in the morning, lunch, and dinner, however, try not to consume too much carbs late during at night. Instead add in servings of vegetables or fruit along with protein for your meals.
