Are you SERIOUS?

Please, my very limited nutrition based brain cannot comprehend those words. Care to explain?

I am assuming by GOOD you mean GOOD for you nutritionally. Nobody, come on you must of figured out by now that most of the things that are healthy to eat do not taste good. If it were that easy there would not be an obesity problem in the United States or anywhere else for that matter. I know that you probably just wanted to believe it because you like chocolate. Of course chocolate is ok to eat in small amounts, but not daily. Some people, myself included get acne when to much of it is consumed as well.

Personally I do not enjoy the taste of anything I eat besides peanut butter and milk. Cheese is good too.

My understanding is that it has way too much sugar. I have never heard of any athletes or health professionals eating dark chocolate without guilt. I have no idea what you mean when you say that it is good.
If I am missing somthing I am willing to learn but I would be floored if I someone could convince me that it wont make me fat

It'll make you fat, anything will make you fat if you eat too many calories.

dark chocolate, like dark beer, coffee, and red wine, have anti-oxidant chemicals. However, that only makes them a better choice over milk chocolate, light beer and white wine.

its like when McDonald's changed the type of oil they fry with...and tried to call it 'healthier'.

None of these things are 'healthy'...but going with the new fryer oil is "less of a health risk" than what they used to use. Same with dark chocolate. its not healthy, but it at least provides something beneficial to the body besides calories.
