do you count oil used to saute?

if i were to saute some veggies or something in a pan using some olive oil, should i count that towards my calories? I know it seems like something stupid, but I'm cutting right now and I have to make sure everything is accurate

Well, yeah. If you put in a tablespoon, add 150 cals or whatever it is to your total.

yeah that's pretty much for any oil. that's my point though, you need to use a lot but you don't really eat it all

Try to estimate how much of it you actually consume

...or you could just lick the pan after you cook and count it all

If you always count it the same way then your calorie count will be consistent even if it isn't 100% accurate.

You could measure how much is left in the pan afterwards and subtract. Then factor the nutrients based on that amount.
