Glutamine question

Hello,
I have a question about glutamine. I drink the optimum protein 2times a day which contains 4g glutamine per scoop. what the protein includes glutamine is this the same which i can buy separetly?
i bought the eas l glutamine it includes 5g/1,5 teaspoon and its reccomended to take 2-3 servings/ day. so if i drink the protein 2times it is already 8g should i take the l glutamine or i shouldnt. somebody told me it is a good idea to take it separetly too but i am sceptic cause 18g or even 15g of glutamine sounds to much for me.

honestly, glutamine will likely do nothing for you. few supp companies still sell/market it much because most recent research found that it doesn't get absorbed in the gut like they claimed.
