Is this a good diet?

Hi everyone first post here. I'm wondering if this is a good diet to go with on a fat burning program here is what I have been doing for the past couple days. Keep in mind I am very much a newbie when it comes to dieting but let me know what I should change.

Breakfast:
Juice-either apple or orange usually; sometimes grape
Honey nut cheerios with 1/2 cup 1% milk

Lunch:
Glass of V8
Either- 6" subway club(the ones with 6g of fat or less) or another bowl of Honey nut cheerios with 1/2 cup 1% milk

Dinner:
6" subway club(the ones with 6g of fat or less) usually with 1/2 a bottle of Gatorade(since I come back from the gym before this)

as you can see it is very simple. I am wondering if this is a good diet? What should I change/add/remove? thanks again

Well this isn't a very optimal diet. Since you are such a "newbie" why not read up a little on these links and you should be all set up or at least with a fine start.

First of all I would like to say NO, NO THIS IS NOT GOOD! OMG! What do you need to change? Everything.

This can be fixed though...

Lets start by getting your stats + a more detailed goal (and what you are doing in the gym I HOPE its not as bad as your nutrition). Also read all the stickies on the forums as well as explore some on your own. Then we will get around to getting you a "real" diet.

Subway diet only works if you're morbidly obese like Jared....and even then if you saw him now with his shirt off, you wouldn't call him "slender" by any means. Sure he's better off now, but IMO he ain't done.

YOU NEED MORE PROTEIN. You also need to cut the juice, and all that bread, and the deli meat. Sadly the honey nut cheerios are about the best thing you're eating now...and they're only marginally healthy.

wait you said lay off the deli meats... does that mean that boars head turkey breast cold cuts aren't good for you? and if so why is that?

depends on the ingredients. 95% of deli meats are quite processed, full of nitrates, and salt.
