| | | Good preanut butter brand? I have read that eating peanut butter from the jar is great while bulking. I've currently been trying this, and I like it. It's a simple snack. It only takes about 3 spoonfills to give my body the **** it needs to work.
I'm just wondering, whats a good peanut butter brand? Or all they all pretty much the same? Should I get crunchy (with peanuts), or just the butter? |

| | | PB has a lot of calories, so that may be the reason someone told you they are good for bulking diets. Don't over do it though, b/c eating too much of anything, especially high in calories and fats like PB can lead to the unwanted kind of weight gain.
However, PB is good and you should def. stick with the natural PBs which can be found in any supermarket. I have eaten for years, and love Crazy Richards Natural PB. Stuff tastes great and I know many others on here like it as well. |

However, I don't recommend simply eating it from the jar. Three spoons isn't very filling and doesn't have any carbs.
I like this for getting my fat, protein and carbs:
1/2-3/4 cp skim milk.
1 cp plain, fat free yogurt.
1/2 cp low fat cottage cheese.
1-2 tbsp natural peanut butter.
1/2 scp protein powder (I use casein, but you can use whey)
1pkt fat free hot cocoa mix.
It's about 430 calories
almost 50g protein
50g carbs
11g fat. |

| | I used to use this stuff called powerbutter, it was good had lots fo protein per serving plus fiber. I don't know if they still make it. stuff was like 12 buck a jar but anything beneficial to your body is going to be expensive. I don't advertise for the company so Id say anything natural just like these guys have said.
yeah just checked they do still make it powerbutter.com

That is soooooooo true about anything beneficial to your body being expensive. I hate it. You go into a grocery store and snickers are 65 cents but the protein bars are two dollars. At my school all the junk food is cheap but the somewhat healthier stuff is expensive. It definetely adds to the stereotype of america being the "fattest country." | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
