I always hear about how people say so many cold cereals are actually unhealthy but there has to be some that aren't right? What about a good old fashioned bowl of Cheerios?
Its devoid of any "added in" sugars, and from what I have read on Lecithin, this is used in many bread products for various reasons, and isnt a bad ingredient.

This naturally delicious swiss style cereal has no added sugar or salt and is very low fat. A combination of oats, wheat, barley with raisins and roasted hazelnuts and almonds makes this a healthy alternative for your morning meal.

Spead a serving on top a large Brisquit of Shredded Wheat, heat it in the Microwave for a small time, add some low fat milk, and ROCK the mouth.....No wonder I am all messed up...

You have to keep your head out of microwaves, dude.

Just look at the ingredients list and nutrition label. Look for a cereal which is made of whole grain, and no more than about 5% of the carbohydrate is sugar.
The old fashioned Cheerios qualifies, but not the newer (sweetened) varieties.
Kashi "Mighty Bites" are my favorite. They have all the taste of kid's cereal with all the goodness of Kashi. They are sweetened with honey, however, so if you have a problem with honey, then I wouldn't suggest them.
Or get some hot steel cut oats, a little NPB, and a banana, and you take right off! It makes the taste buds, fly! They flat out are busten it up in loven it!

Kashi Mighty Bites' primary sweetener is "evaporated cane juice" (sugar), which is the second ingredient. Honey is way down on the ingredients list, though it is not nutritionally significantly different from sugar.
Of the 23g carbohydrates per serving, 5g (22%) is sugar. Not as high as a typical kid's cereal (which is usually around 50% of carbohydrates from sugar), but there are better (lower sugar) choices among whole grain cereals. Among Kashi products, Kashi Puffs and Kashi Pilaf have no added sugar, while Kashi Nuggets has only 6% of carbohydrates from sugar.

Yes, there are some Kashi cereals I dont particularly like, but they do make an awesome variety of cereals to choose from. Its one of the best set to choose from.
I love the high protein content of the Kashi cereals, that and the high fiber content is what has me picking it up all the time. I don't like the sugar content but I find it acceptable since this is only a part of my diet.
When I compare the GoLean and the GoLean Crunch to other cereals they fail misreably in the protein and/or fiber areas.
The one problem I have with cereals is that they put too much fiber in it. You can easily get 14-30 grams of fiber from the cereal. Now, if you're not getting enough fiber, that's all fine, but if you're me, you would have painful gas about 9 hours later.

Funny you say that, I have had 2 bowls of Kashi the past 2 days and I can't figure out why i've been gassy...(i know, gross, sorry!)
Back to the topic, Kashi, Shredded Wheat, and Grape Nuts are the only ones I eat. I have a weak spot for cereal and these are about the only ones I have come across that I don't feel bad eating.

Its fun,,,,,,,being gassy! He, he,
I have the same problem with high fiber content foods. When one is already gassy, and eating things that make one even more gassy, things can get pretty explosive around the house.
But I take what I need in fiber, and eat it anyway.
It does the body good when taking the amount needed/reccommended.
