Nutrition without appliances to cook/keep cold

I am headed to my friends house at his university from thurs night to sat morning, I need good food ideas that I can keep in my bag, he lives with 5 other people so I don't want to get in their way and use their fridge and stuff. Stuff that doesn't need to be cold and that can sit in my bag for a day without going bad. Any ideas? Much appreciated.

I don't think you're going to get in their way mate, it's reasonable for you to use the fridge, the weird thing is not to. You'd expect the same thing to happen with whoever visits their house, you are not going to be the first and you are not going to be the last. Stop worrying over nothing.
