Hold up...

After you cook oatmeal in a microwave or something the cals. go down? Because according to fitday they do FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal.

When you cook oatmeal, you add a lot of water, so the calories per weight go down compared to the raw oatmeal.

I think that's the reason, as far as I know microwaving doesn't destroy the nutrition.

Yeah thats what I figured as well. Mind you how many people eat raw oats? I know a few horses that do haha.

If you pour milk on them, they're fine Most think they also need sugar, but imo they don't, been eating that for breakfast for years.

No, microwaving doesn't change the nutrition AFAIK. The amount you measure dry is the amount of cals you're gonna get.
