How bad are honey bunches of oats

POST - CEREAL - HONEY BUNCHES OF OATS 16 oz

that is the nutritional info

I love this cereal and its a great way for me to make sure I drink the 4 cups of skim milk I attempt to each day (I mix it with a whole wheat cereal which is pretty healthy so I usually eat 1 and 1/2 to 2 servings of the honey bunches of oats a day).

Tastes good, low in fiber, low in protein as many cereals are unless fortified. Less sugar than the Kashi[fortified cereals]
Why not go all whole grain?

unless its sugar free or at least whole grain its not that good for you although honey bunches of oats does have a lot less sugar than many other cereals. basically im telling you unless your genetically lucky, if you eat average then youll get average results for the most part.

It's okay to eat every once in a while. Just be sure to mix it up every once in a while. Nothing wrong with honey oats, and it's always better than what most people eat for breakfast.

Some Good "base" cereals to "ROCK" the mouth with once in a while

Hope your day is well, and you are flat "smoken!"

Leave everyone in the friggen dust wondering: "WTF!"

Oh........here is the list I have posted before:

1. Steel Cut Oats, Old Fashioned Cut Oats, and Regular Cut Oats (quick cook type), in large containers.

2. Various types of Go Lean Kashi cereals.

3. Fiber-One. (60 calories per 1/2 Cup, and source of fiber)

4. Grape Nuts

GRAPE-NUTS:

Ingredients: WHOLE GRAIN WHEAT FLOUR, WHEAT FLOUR, MALTED BARLEY FLOUR, SALT, DRIED YEAST, SOY LECITHIN. VITAMINS AND MINERALS: REDUCED IRON, NIACINAMIDE, ZINC OXIDE (SOURCE OF ZINC), VITAMIN B6, VITAMIN A PALMITATE, RIBOFLAVIN (VITAMIN B2), THIAMIN MONONITRATE (VITAMIN B1), FOLIC ACID, VITAMIN B12, VITAMIN D.

Its devoid of any "added in" sugars, and from what I have read on Lecithin, this is used in many bread products for various reasons, and isnt a bad ingredient.

5. Shredded Wheat and Shredded Wheat and Bran: (NOT SUGAR TOPPED)

POST SHREDDED WHEAT ORIGINAL SPOON SIZE

Ingredients: WHOLE GRAIN WHEAT

TO PRESERVE THE NATURAL WHEAT FLAVOR, BHT IS ADDED TO THE PACKAGING MATERIAL--If you dont like perservatives, dont select this one

Grape Nuts rock!

I've been into the steel cut oats hot cereal lately. I use just a bit of honey for flavor. Otherwise it just tastes like gristle.

Grape nuts do not rock if you have a time limit to eat a certain amount without any milk or liquids. Damn that stuff is dry.
