Intake Goals?

Ok I'm trying to focus currently on the three areas like Protein/Fat/Carb.

I know for me I'm looking at like 1g protein/lb. I weight 195 so 195g a day.

Then there is something like a goal of 25%-30% fat intake(Obv avoid Trans at all costs and avoid Sat to a decent degree) of my caloric intake.

What the heck should I focus on carbs exactly? I'm trying to cut so I am thinking the 40/30/30 split would be bad for me to cut. I just know I need to cut the carbs a lot.

Avoid ALL processed/refined carbs (like white breads, white pastas)
, limit your simple, High glycemic index carbs

You want to keep your complex low-glycemic index carbs
Do not cut your carbs below 20%

The Glycemic index basically states how quickly sugars in foods are absorbed into the bloodstream. higher numbers are absorbed more quickly and lower less as quick. And when blood sugar is elevated your pancreas releases a hormone called "Insulin. Which helps 'take' the sugar from the blood stream and direct them to into your bodys cells. which thus helps regulate your blood sugar levels.

The Glycemic Index
^follow the above link then click on "Database" you can search foods by name
Example "pasta" with out the " " of course. it will show you all of the matches and show you the rating. Anything less then 55 is considered good.
