Looking for a Whey Protein brand

Hi,
I'm about to buy a whey protein but i'm not yet quite sure which brand i should buy.
I guess that Optimum 100% Whey protein is good, as it is one of the most popular. What do you think about this brand ad what's the difference between this one and the Optimum 100% Whey protein gold standard.
My aim is to quickly gain muscle and maybe keep them after stopping to take the protein, but for sure not to lose weight. So do you recommend Optimum 100% Whey protein or the gold standard one or another brand?
Thanks a lot!!!

i have used optimum. its a pretty good bang for the buck.

i have compared it some of the other brands, and honestly it's up there w/ the better ones.

now, i will let the other guys chime in here w/ their info, but honestly, optimum is a good brand of whey protein to go w/.

Optimum nutrition...I finally ran out of my cookies and cream so I got the famous choclate mint. OMG, it is amazing! I get to drink shakes that are healthy for you. LOL. They are really good though. I use skim milk to even out the taste.
