| | How dare you mock me. There was a layer of quinoa underneath. And some chicken breast.
I'd be lying, though, if I said I wouldn't rather be eating what rws is having. I really need to try keto one of these days. If what I'm doing now doesn't give me good results within 2 months, I think I will. Eating sausage, bacon, steak, rack of lamb, ribs... etc. all day would be heaven for me.
Which is not to say I think his diet is easy. I would just enjoy it a lot at first, is all. |

I'm glad you think my meals look delicious... I'll post some more keto-style meals soon! |

A ketogenic diet is high in fats and protein, and very low or no carbs at all ( usually sub 50 ). This will force the body into a state of ketosis where "ketones" are used as a fuel source instead of glucose.
Fat will be able to oxidate faster because of the extremely low insulin levels.
It is very efficient, and many bodybuilders and lifters use it for their cutting phase. Has helped some people to overcome that barrier of 10% BF, and finally hit 7/8% as well. |

| | | Heh, I haven't had that kind of stuff for a long while. I still love hamburgers and have them all the time (home prepared), but haven't eaten a fast food burger for a while. |

I wished this bowl would have never emptied.. heh.
Here it is without the dressing...
And with..
