| | | You seriously need to look at that diet. No vegetables and at least 8 pieces of bread a day - whether or not it's whole grain is unknown. Try reading up on some of the nutrition stickies on this forum.
To get and maintain, you need to know a) what you should be eating and b) do it. Based on the diet above, you haven't done that yet. |

| | As said, take a good time to read up on some nutrition stuff. Things you could include are Protein:
Eggs
Dairy
Chicken
Fish
Lean beef
Turkey
Ham Carbs:
Pretty much any veggie and fruit. I don't think I need to list all of those
Whole grain bread
Oatmeal
Quinoa Fats:
Dairy - full fat is okay just as long as your total saturated fat intake for the day is controlled
Olive oil
Canola oil
Avocado
Nut butter (peanut, cashew, almond, even sunflower seed etc.)
Eggs (I know they were listed already but they're a good source in both ways)
Nuts (particularly walnuts and almonds if you want to get picky)
Fatty fish - salmon and tuna
Just as some general stuff I can come up with here, try to hit somewhere in the range of 1g/lb of BW in protein intake, and fill the rest with the carbs and fats suggested. If you want a ratio to follow (though it doesn't matter assuming adequate protein), try something like P/C/F of 30/40/30 or even 30/50/20. Also, go to freedieting.com and figure out your maintenance. Take about a 15-20% deficit off there, or somewhere in the 500 calorie range. Use fitday.com (or others such as nutridiary.com or thedailyplate.com) to keep track of what you're eating. Those are the most important steps to take right now. |

| | | apples are not bad for you its natural sugar which is alot better for you then that S*** they add when they make produts apples are great to eat in your diet just eat 1 a day and a banana 1or2 times a day instead of more apples better for you.
and apples heav natural nitric oxide booster in them which give you a little boost of energy during the day, so if you are feeling tired eat an apple or before your workout eat an apple they will give you the little boost you need |

I don't know if I'm gonna be able to handle you throwing out all this bad advice. Don't eat fruit because it's just sugar? COME ON. You need to do some reading yourself. And what exactly do you consider a "fitness" diet?
And you could get "ripped," whatever the hell that means, eating 5 potatoes a day, if you wanted. I wouldn't do that, and it's not exactly a healthy choice, but it has nothing to do with body composition. |

Fruit while being a starch is more closely connected with fibrous carbs than starchy carbs due to the fiber content in the fruit. So, with fruit you have fiber, sugar, and protein. Not to mention all the vitamins and minerals in fruit. So, no, he's not just ingesting sugar.
I have yet to hear anyone tell me that they got fat because of all the fruit they eat. Granted there is a cut off limit on the amount of sugar you want to take in over all; however, 5-6 servings of fruit a day is not going to make him fat.
I would like to see more of a variety of fruit than just apples though. |

Is it healthy? Nope. But you can get 'ripped'. |
