| | | No BS Whey Protein? Hi all
I am going to start taking some protein supplements, and i'm mainly looking at Whey protein.
Just browsing around today i found a vast selection of products, but every single one looked funky as hell.
All i'm looking for is 100% natural whey protein. No BS artificial flavors loaded with aspartame and other artificial sweeteners etc. I dont want chocolate or vanilla or banana flavors. I don't care if it tastes like absolute ****.
Anyone have any product recommendations?
thanks in advance. |

North Coast Naturals - All Natural whey protein
I think they have a straberry flavour you'd enjoy |

| | | Optimum Nutrition makes an unflavored 100% whey isolate.
with your aversion to anything artificial, can I assume you basically eat NO processed foods? Just purely whole foods? |

| | I just put in a massive order with trueprotein the other day. They're supposed to be really excellent. As far as I can tell, the purity of their product is very very high. I'll let you know how it is when it gets here.
Of course, I'll be trying it with all kinds of (supposedly) delicious flavours, since I have a hell of a time choking it down when it's dressed up well, let alone plain.
But I'll be adding the flavor myself, so yeah. |

| | thanks for your input.
I checked out the Optimum Nutrition one and it was probably the 2nd best option, however it does have crystalline fructose in it, which although isn't the end of the world, i see as unnecessary. What is Crystalline Fructose? | The Fit Shack
Ps. i used to have a full s3 warlock. now what. |

| | | I bought 100% whey (no sweeteners, flavorings, etc.) from GNC. Most GNC whey products do have sucralose or some other garbage in them, but when I asked the salesperson, they did indeed have 100% whey with nothing added. |

| | | Since you're living in Norway, wouldn't you want to buy from a Norwegian place? If you buy from abroad you'd have to pay customs + quite a bit in shipping I assume. It is cheaper outside of Norway though, and with the dollar low it might be worth getting it from the US. I don't know of any Norwegian sites that sell flavourless stuff though.. |

Every product i was able to find in norway, eg proteinfabrikken etc was something i wouldn't ingest even if they paid me. |

| | | I'm in the UK and buy unflavoured whey protein and quite like the taste. Adds a rich creaminess to milk and you can mix it with loads of different things. If your really struggling to find stuff in norway then I use myprotein.co.uk |

| | | As promised, here's the verdict: Turns out trueprotein is by far the best I've ever tasted. And I've tried a lot of different brands. A lot a lot. I really like the premium flavors Dutch Chocolate and Banana. Mmmm mmmmm. But all of the premium flavors are pretty good. Except for the limeade and lemonade ones, imo. |
