| | | That is alot of fat and and not enough protein. What is your goals as well, that is important to my suggestion. And instant breakfast is just sugar and processed vitamins. |

| | | The only fat comes from the peanut butter really and its good fat as its pure no trans fat, Omega 3 all natural vegan peanut butter. With this shake there is 30 grams of protein, so yeah maybe it could use a little more. |

| | | The 2 percent milk has fat (may not be much but it does have fat). The oatmeal also has some fat. The flax seeds are a fat. I'm not sure what the instant breakfast thing is.

| | | Well like I said it depends on your goals, so list them and I can suggest for you a proper morning shake. The only complete protein source you have there is the milk as well. I get that it is tasty, but it may not be right for your goals and still stand by ditching the instant breakfast. In general if it says instant on the box, you don't want to be using it. |

| | | Its 1/2 or 0.5% milk....not 2% milk. My goal basically is just to have a good healthy breafast with some protein and fuel. Im working out so i do want something that will help the muscles grow a bit. Not trying to super bulk or anything like that, but definitely want more than a bowl of cereal or oatmeal can give me. |

| | | Well given that isn't even a really specific goal I don't know how much help I can offer. Having that high of fat content first thing in the morning really isn't going to do much. The instant breakfast is crap and may not be enough protein.
Roughly this shake comes to about 700 calories. That is certainly a bulking breakfast, and serious one at that if you are eating 5-6 meals a day which you should be no matter what your goal. See where I am getting at here? You should have specific goals or you are going to just get fat form eating like this.
If bulking way to much fat for breakfast and not enough protein. Yuu need to figure out your goals to detail, figure your caloric needs and then figure out your breakfast. |

| | | I love milk, but the morning is one of the last times I would ever have it. I always have a bowl of oatmeal and a 2 scoop protein shake, along with half a liter of water. It gets me going and all the nutrients get absorbed quickly since it's reletively low in fat... | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
