| | | Other good things to eat? Hey every one, Im new here. But yea, so far this is my plans on what Im going to be doing. I will run for about 20-25 minutes in the morning and at night and do reps of push ups and crunhes mid day.
Im 6'5" and 255 pounds. Right now, Im just focusing on losing the weight, then later ill bulk up.
I have a general idea of what Ill be eating. Also, 3 meals will be the easiest, since I have work and school, I dont have a lot of time to eat.
Breakfast- Maybe a bag of oatmeal or a bowl of bran cereal.
Lunch- Maybe some sort of tuna or some eggs
Dinner- Some frozen salmon.
Yea, so thats only the very basic idea, what other good fat burning foods with low fat/low cal should i eat? |

| | | protein at EVERY meal.
it will be hard to eat enough with only 3 meals a day.
a good diet isn't exactly 'low fat'. its actually 'high in healthy fat'.
check my links list. |

| | | eat celery because its a fiberous veggie. fiber helps you digest food properly.
if you can't get all your protein through whole foods, then a quality protein powder (a big tub of the stuff, not little pills) is definitely gonna be beneficial.
most of the 'experienced' people here use shakes because they are convenient and not extremely filling...they make good, fast snacks. |

no really is it "impossible" to for you to eat more than 3 meals. cause to get the proper amount of calories, you are going to need to eat a lot at each meal. which isnt optimal for your metabolism |

| | | everyone else in my office eats 2-3 big meals a day. they're all lazy and lethargic in the afternoon...one guy regularly falls asleep at his desk around 3-3:30pm.
me? I"m ready to kickbox at 3pm! I'm full of energy and not the slightest bit tired.
why? because I'm not experiencing a plummet in my blood sugar, because my lunch wasn't 700-800 calories of processed carbs, fat, and a thin wafer of meat. my lunch was 400 calories of lean meat and veggies.
It REALLY works to eat 5-7 times a day. |

| | | Dont run into the low cal/low fat trap thats seen everywhere. 100 calorie snacks here and there, these suck. At your size you need to consume quite a number of calories, even to lose weight. Eat a lean protein and some veggies at every meal if possible (veggies that is). Protein shakes are a great substitute, but you can pack sandwiches and other things (carrots, celery, peppers) to take with you. I am in school, have a family, and go to school full time and still find time to eat 6 times per day minimum. |
