Question Pasta for breakfast

hey guys, well here goes

im trying to lose weight, i woke up today at about 12.30pm, and since it wasnt really a breakfast time! and i was planning on goin gym bout 3pm, i thought id leave my usual weetabix and skimmed milk which iv been havin bout 10am and have pasta/spicey dolmio/high protein low fat cheese for my first meal for energy for my 8.5km/750kcal/55min treadmil run,

also by leaving the weetabix i have left out a uneeded 200kcals from my day,
altho i was wonderin, when u wake up, ur body is in hibernation mode, would my body store any of that large pasta meal as fat?

Pasta is carbs. This is a very simpllified version of what happens, but in simple terms, your body converts carbs to glucose. Glucose ends up in your blood where it can be used as energy.

If the body doesn't need glucose for energy, it ends up storing glucose in your liver and and muscles. Stored glucose is called glycogen. In a nutshell, if your glycogen stores are full, glucose is then stored as fat.

Remember, generally speaking, it's only any " excess " calories - it doesn't matter if it's excess carb, protien or fat calories - beyond what your body needs each day that gets stored as fat.
