protein, drinks and bars

ok my body offically hates drinkin protein... and fine oats and dextrose mix =/.. really anoyin me now every time i go to drink my shake its a horrible experience , i just end up being sick. i really hav to force my self to drink them and when i do i either am sick or im bloating for ages.. just dont think my body can handle that much cals at once. or im tollerent to sumit.

so alternatives!

i am trying to bulk but not doin very well as i cant drink my shakes, so i want to get these bars

Protein flapjack (raspberry) - Protein flapjacks | myprotein.co.uk

they look pretty good, all the stuff my protein shake has anyway and more. 330 cals i think. ill take like 2 a day plus with my healthy real food diet.

just wondering if you think these bars would be alrite to help me bulk.

I've seen people react badly to different brands of protein. Have you tried other brands ? What are you taking that is making you sick ? Do you drink it with milk or water ? Try different mixes.
The best natural food I've found for bulking is red meat. Great for building muscle. Get the leanest cut you can. This can be an expensive endeavor though.
Don't know much about those flapjacks you posted. How much sugar and carbs?

I don't like the sound of the 'flapjacks'. Too much crap in there. Especially since it has milk isolate and whey concentrate. I would look for whey isolate in a better powder. Look for another 'good' brand of powder. Ask your local guy at the supplement store about the proteins he has. He'll tell you his most popular brand he carries. It's not always the most expensive one that he recommends...sometimes you get a douche bag, but....you should be able to tell after talking to him/her if they know wtf they are talking about.

Got any friends on protein ? Ask for samples and try them if so.

Just my opinion here. Kind of a subjective thing if you know what I mean.

I like this personally.

Lots of people like optimum nutrition also.

I'm with Johnny on red meat. Get as much as you can from real food.
