| | | this seems too good to be true. I discovered this cereal called "golean" by kashis. It has 13 grams of protein per serving, 10 grams of fiber and only 140 calories! This seems way too good to be true. Everything in life seems like it's a double edged sword, so someone tell me if this is too good to be true or not? |

It looks like it has a ton of good stuff and I might actually try it. I just eat shredded wheat right now with some egg whites in another dish, but I'm looking to try something new. |

| | | It looks ok too me. I don't know if I would choose this instead of oats but this could be a decent alternative. As for it being gods gift to man, nah. The protein source is weak as leip said. And it is still a refined grain. It does have a lot of fiber, thats nice. (But you have to use milk to eat it ewww) |

| | | The only thing that bothers me is its Soy heavy. In moderation Soy can be beneficial but i know how some people use cereals as a stable in their diet. For these people this could possibly be problematic.

| | | I like a lot of Kashi's products. Short of going to a specialty grocery store (that I don't have access to) - they are one of the best widely available brands imo, and actually taste decent enough to eat.
Personally, I don't notice any problems with soy, but I know some people are somewhat sensitive to it. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
