Skimmed Milk Cheese vs Cottage Cheese

Which do you think is better Cottage Cheese or Skimmed Milk Cheese. On looking at the nutritional facts i found out that Skimmed Cheese seems to be a better source of protien. What are your opinions and how much of it should I consume in a day ?

you mean cheese made from skim milk vs. regular milk?

it shouldn't be that far off, ounce per ounce, compared to non-fat cottage cheese.
big thing to watch for is anything they add to your skim cheese...like hydrogenated fats, a ton of sodium, or lots of preservatives.

that said, a good diet should be able to include regular, normal fat cheese, in moderation. a good diet isn't 'low fat'...its 'balanced, healthy fat'...and if you're not eating processed foods, you should have room for an ounce of natural cheese on most days.
