Personally I drink a shake.
And there are no rules saying you can't have some lean meat for breakfast if you'd like. |

| | | How much protein is in one egg white, wouldn't it take like 5-7 egg whites to get enough protein to make it even worth making? |

| | I think it just boils down to what you can stomach when you get up. I dont eat what "some may call a traditional breakfast". I may have some fish mixed with brown long grain rice, or lean chicken breast strips with oatmeal (and the oatmeal has 1 serving of natty PB mixed in) on the side, or something else along these lines.
Hows going jackie?.........Are you fitting in smaller Khackies these days? |

| | | I always recommend to anyone a shake with a half cup oats, and 2 scoops (60 grams?) of whey protein, blended . Gives you a slow burning carb, and of course protein. |

| | | I generally eat 3 whole eggs and some yogurt for breakfast. The cholesterol in eggs isn't a problem if you don't already have high cholesterol. |

| | | I think eggs, yogurt and cottage cheese are definitely the way to go (probably not all at the same time, would be an odd combination), but if you can afford to use whey protein that can be good too.
Personally I have oatmeal pancakes in the morning. Cup of oatmeal, cook it, add it to 6 or so fluffy whisked egg whites and some flour and then cook it like a normal pancake. Usually I add some peanut butter to mine, tastes damn good. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
