What's odd about this list?

The pH Nutrition Guide to Acid / Alkaline Balance page 5 - The pH of common substances

I'm doing more research on acid/alkaline effects of food. I found this list and it confuses me. Anybody notice what's odd about it?

I think they have mixed up the list for acid/alkaline yeilding foods. Lemon juice is an acid and they have it on the alkaline yeilding list along with a whole load of other things that are very obviously acids. Where did you come across this list?

Well, I don't know about you, but personally, I've always found human blood to be a good remedy for acid indigestion.

Right, what's up with that? Plus they have a few items on both acidic and alkaline lists (for ex, walnuts).

I read the articles on the website that the list came off of.

It's definately messed up. Are the other articles any good or did you find they have things mixed up in those as well? That list would make me a little suspicious of what they have in the other articles. The pH scale they have at the beginning is right, but the rest of the lists are messed right up.

Actually I like a fair amount of their articles. It's alternative news with a liberal edge.

Oh well...

Oranges, lemons and so on. While externally they be considered "acidic" once ingested they are considered alkaline. Very few fruits are considered Acidic.

Seems right to me for the most part.
