| | | Would waking up in the middle of the night to eat be hardcore or just stupid? A couple questions.
1. What do you think of the idea of setting your alarm halfway through your sleeping cycle to wake up and eat something to prevent catabolism?
2. What do you think of eating when you wake up in the middle of the night just randomly and you are kinda hungry... do you usually have a little something? Or just try to sleep through it? What should you do? |

| | | More power to you folks that can do that and feel like you got enough sleep. If I wake up and get fully concious in the middle of the night, I feel like I only got half the sleep I need.
Out of curiosity, would you think that something a little longer lasting (casein) might be a better option? Cottage cheese, for example? |

| | | Hmm I'm not sure I could try though. What kinds of cheese would you suggest? Also I read somewhere that for some reason the sugar in milk does not cause any spike in insulin, so although it is a carb the sugar isn't that bad. Is this at all valid? |

| | | I used to do that just because I got hungry. I used to have a fully detailed eating plan given to me by a coach and he had me eating in the middle of the night and I got hooked. I only stopped doing that a while ago.
I have however taken to having a drop of scotch before bed though. | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
