Try watching Japanese horror..then you'll see what a real scary film is like -

I saw the flick with my two sons, it was okay. I have seen better.
Hope everyone's day went well!
Best regards,

next time your renting a horror flick...look for a japanese film called "Audition" -
Quinton Tarintino or however you say it has some pretty messed up stuff. My brother is a big horror movie fan and when ever he comes over I can pretty much guarantee he is going to turn up with a dvd. -

I haven't seen the movie so i could be completely wrong here but maybe the reason you found it so scary is the way it is filmed makes it seem more real than the typical high budget Hollywood movie. -

That would be my guess too. You gotta ask yourself one question: "Do I have an anterior pelvic tilt?" Well do ya, punk!?
"Does this dress make my ass look big?" - "no, that's the anterior pelvic tilt"

Seriously? I think I laughed more while watching Blair Witch than I did 30 Days of Night.
Scaries movie ever-watching Poltergeist when you're 7 with the lights off. But to add to it, you have to fall asleep and then wake up when the white snow and static is on the tv.
Heck, the original HellRaiser is much scarier than Blair Witch.
My top picks...
Poltergeist, Hell Raiser, The Exorcist, The Omen
And I still have to give it up for Psycho and The Shining -
The Exorcist and the Omen are my tops too. I think different movies just resonate with different people. The Sixth Sense creeped me out, some people think I'm goofy when I say that. Who knows?
I liked the Shining, but I don't think it was terrifying. Those little girls were creepy though -
I thought BWP was stupid. Exorcist was weird and creepy but not so scary.
The original Omen with Gregory Peck, Halloween with Jamie Lee Curtis and Friday the 13th with Kevin Bacon, were the three scariest movies I ever saw. -
Can't forget The Shining, Jaws, Psycho. I liked The Descent, Audition and Haute Tension recently, too. Blair Witch was innovative at the time, but I wouldn't watch it again. Similar Threads -
