Give me a break!

i think she has a nice voice, not to mention she's super hot...and if you can't agree she's hot then there's something wrong with you.

I agree completely - she deserved to be in the top 2 - but really, Bo had so much more going on for him. Who cares, anyway. That producer already said he was going to do records with Bo, regardless of whether he won or not.

I liked both of them. And I actually thought Bo would win because I thought the majority of people watching the show would be girls, and with him being a big hit with the girls I thought that would give him the edge. I like Bo for how original his voice is, and rock is my type of music anyway. But when you comapre how technically good the voices are I think Carrie had it. (She kinda messed up that last performance though due to her emotions).

Did you see Bo do his thing without the band? That was interesting to say the least.

That was awesome. He should've won just for that.

My opinion is that Carrie had the voice, but not the style or originality. Bo had a great voice, and the full package. Props to him.

I mean, when Clay Aiken came in second, he ended up being WAAAAY more popular than Reuben Studdard - and made tons more money, too. I think this'll be a similar case. I mean, how many Carrie Underwoods do we have already? But we have very few musicians with Bo's chops.

I guess you could be right. I didn't see any of the other series so I don't know Rueben and all that, and none of them made it big in the UK. At least Carrie isn't the typical air-head girl who lives for shopping and clothes, and who would let a win like that go straight to her head, right?

Did Gareth Gates or Will Young make an impact in the US after the first Pop Idol over here? I'm not a big fan of them at all, I think Carrie and Bo are both far better then those two.
