5 packs of chicken and rice a day? |

Whole chickens, Rump steaks, Weetbix and occasionally cheat meals. | Actually he did some serious overeating. Look at his first meal alone 7 weetabix, 2 eggs and a glass of milk? Continental chicken is tasty but not 7 or 8 times a day. There's probably 4000-5000 cals in there. A sumo wrestler would have been proud of that. |

| | 4-5k cals is nothing I eat 4k on a bulk. Not saying that he wasn't overeating, he definately was overeating, but overeating is in comparison with your metabolism.
What I'm saying is, I don't think a sumo wrsetler would be proud of 4-5k cals.. |

a whole 400 calories... | Actually, aren't weetabix bigger than crackers, like huge chunky things the size of a granola bar? I seem to recall them being really large. Like two of them fit in a cereal bowl and usually make up the entire breakfast. Or maybe I was just really little last time I ate them. |

And yeah, Weetabix aren't crackers, they're big chunky weet cakes that you add milk to. I once ate about 10 in one sitting as a student and couldn't crap for about a week |

Looking at his diet again 14 weetabix, 7 eggs as well as the processed chicken over 9 meals could be as much as 7,000 cals. Such a huge surplus is only asking for trouble. |

Like I said, I can cut on 4,000 and I'm only about 220lbs. 7k? Yeah that's a lot for 200lbs but looking at the diet he posted I doubt he was getting in that many |

| | | I think what we have to take into account here though, regardless of how many calories you lot or even a sumo wrestler can or can't handle, is that clearly his metabolism couldn't handle the food intake to calorie burn ratio he was imposing on it, and he did not recognize this as he was inexperienced and apparently had no idea what his body should be looking like during this process. |

Each person's magic number to gain muscle or lose fat is irrelevant. What is relevant is finding your number, it might be way ahead of what a similar sized person eats or might be way less. As long as you are losing fat or gaining muscle, you gots you the perfect setup. This guy was obviously way off base with his magic number. |
